The VNA is seeking a Donor Data Analyst to work with the VNA & Hospice Foundation.This position is a critical member of the Fund Development team whose work impacts the Foundation’s Strategic Vision of inspiring philanthropists to partner with the VNA to build a healthier community for all. The Foundation’s work depends on high quality, accurate, timely data. The Donor Data Analyst is the lead staff and knowledge expert for the Foundation’s donor data system. The position’s key priorities are to ensure the database has high integrity; data can be turned into actionable information and insight; and, strategic reports are developed to meet the needs of all constituencies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Interact with data system vendor and other vendors that require data from and/or interface with the database.
  • Ensure data system is accurate, current and meets all audit requirements.
  • Ensure the database and operations support the Foundation’s goals and strategies

  • Ensure all data is entered in a timely, accurate manner and that gifts are appropriately acknowledged.

  • Ensure the quality of all lists and reports for the Foundation.

  • Support and provide ongoing training to users, ensuring optimum and efficient use of the system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or related field and/or combination of 3 – 5 years experience with database management system; Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge preferred
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in a non-profit
