The Director of Sales will lead our sales team and drive the growth of our services in home health, hospice, palliative care, and private care. The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, building strong relationships with referral sources, and promoting the mission and values of the VNA of the Treasure Coast.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities to expand our services and reach.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales strategies with the overall mission and vision of the organization.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Set clear performance expectations and goals for the sales team, and regularly review and assess progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes collaboration and accountability.

Relationship Building

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources, including healthcare providers, hospitals, and community organizations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase referrals and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our services and build brand awareness.

Sales Management

  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for clients and referral sources.
  • Utilize data and analytics to track sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

Marketing and Promotion

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns and materials that support sales efforts.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment of brand messaging across all sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools and social media platforms to enhance visibility and engagement with target audiences.
  • Attends and participates in local medical and physician society functions.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of sales leadership experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Experience in home health, hospice, palliative care, or private care services is highly desirable.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
